COLOMBIA - La Victoria
PRODUCER: Multiple Producers
REGION: Northern Santa Maria & Palermo, Northern Huila
VARIETY: Caturra, Colombia, Castillo, and Typica
PROCESS: Washed
ELEVATION: 1750-2300 Masl
Tasting Notes: Cherry, Cane Sugar, Tangerine
STORY: La Victoria is a communal lot comprised primarily of producers from Northern Huila, specifically Santa Maria and Palermo, and named after a former association. This coffee is special to us because it was the very first group of farmers we started working with in Colombia and still work with them to this day, as well as many others in the region. We also set up our very first purchasing point in Santa Maria and also still manage that same warehouse. The region is special as they have maintained many of the older, more traditional varieties and have elevations peaking at 2,300 meters! This combination allows the coffees to offer sweetness and red fruits that put Colombia on the map initially!
We roast and ship every Monday & Thursday. Orders must be received by 5PM on Sunday and Wednesday to ensure it gets added to our production. Orders placed after 5PM on on Sunday and Wednesday will be roasted and shipped out the next production day.
Please Note: Taxes have been included in the price.
