From Farm To Cup
The Reko washing station is named after the tall and skinny mountain that overlooks the hills of Kochere. Reko, translated in Afaan Oromo, means “challenge” and refers to the challenge of climbing the mountain. The Reko washing station sets the bar high for neighboring stations, helping to sustain coffee communities and consistently delivering exceptional coffee year after year.
If you're familiar with the Reko lot we've been purchasing for years, this lot comes from the same washing station but undergoes additional preparation, separation, and is processed naturally to bring out lovely, fruit-forward notes. This is the first time we've had the opportunity to purchase Reko processed in this way, so to say we're excited to offer this coffee is a huge understatement!
If you've been a fan of our washed Reko, don't wait to try this version! Please note this is a limited release, so enjoy it as many times as you can while it lasts!
